Advices Of Garment Care

General Clothing Care Instructions

  • Always follow the care instructions on clothing labels.
  • Avoid overloading the washing machine.
  • It's better to wash clothes inside out.
  • Dissolve detergent well to prevent stains.
  • For colored clothes, avoid handwashing for the first wash; immersion is prohibited.
  • Some clothes that seem to have shrunk may regain their original size after ironing (e.g., 100% modal or 100% viscose).
  • To keep your underwear soft, avoid machine drying and excessive sun exposure.
  • Use natural detergent dissolved correctly to keep your underwear looking new.

Wool
Avoid washing at high temperatures and always lay flat to maintain its shape.

Cotton
Cotton is resistant to ironing and wringing; avoid washing at very high temperatures.

Synthetic Fibers
Colors in this fabric category are colorfast. Recommended washing and ironing at moderate to low temperatures.

Basic Textile Fibers Natural Fibers (Plant and Animal)

Cotton: The most important textile fiber, offering comfort, aesthetics, and high moisture absorption. Categorized by length (long, medium, or short), fineness, and maturity of fibers, resulting in various categories (combed, carded, open-end, etc.).

Merino Wool: Merino Wool is much finer and softer than regular wool. With modern spinning technology and fiber treatments, Merino Wool yields outstanding fabrics that surpass materials like cotton or synthetics in every aspect. Combining style, comfort, and performance, Extra Fine Merino Wool is soft to the touch, features functional yarn, is a pure natural fiber, and is machine washable.

Natural Polymeric Fibers from Regenerated Cellulose (Processed Plant Fibers)

Bamboo: Bamboo fiber boasts unique and inherent antibacterial properties along with natural deodorization functions. Apparel crafted from bamboo fibers inherently possesses protective qualities against solar UV radiation. Being a natural cellulose fiber, it is entirely eco-friendly, and its decomposition process does not contribute to environmental pollution. Thanks to its exceptional microstructure, bamboo fiber apparel rapidly absorbs and evaporates human sweat, allowing the body to breathe comfortably.

Viscose: Viscose fabric, derived from natural wood pulp, combines luxurious softness with breathability, making it an ideal choice for comfortable and stylish clothing. Known for its excellent draping qualities, viscose offers versatility and is often used in the creation of elegant dresses, blouses, and other fashion essentials.

TENCEL™ Modal: TENCEL™ Modal  fibers are made from natural polymer, cellulose, derived from sustainably sourced beach wood. Fabric made with TENCEL™ Modal fiber offer softness, bright colors. Does not fade and are resistant to shrinking, ensuring enduring quality and comfort.

TENCEL™ Lyocell: TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers are made from a natural polymer, cellulose, derived from sustainably sourced eucalyptus wood. It is a 100% natural material with antibacterial properties that effectively absorbs moisture and helps balance the skin's pH.

Synthetic Polymeric Fibers (Polymerized Organic Compounds)

Nylon: High tear and abrasion resistance, easy care.
Polyester: High tear and abrasion resistance, high elasticity, and minimal shrinkage.
Acrylic: Similar to wool, lightweight, warm, and easy to use.
Spandex: High stretch without breaking, used in small percentages for elasticity.

Yarn Weaving Woven fabrics are created by interlacing two successive loops.

The main weaves include:
  • Single Jersey: Simplest knit structure with moderate elasticity, suitable for underwear, summer, and winter pajamas.
  • Rib: Double knit with high elasticity, used for underwear and summer pajamas.
  • Interlock: Double knit with moderate elasticity, used for winter pajamas and homewear.

Other weaves based on the main ones include:
  • Punto di Roma: Punto di Roma is a double-knit fabric characterized by its interlocking stitch pattern, offering enhanced stability and minimal elasticity. With a smooth texture and substantial weight, it is an optimal choice for manufacturing pajamas, providing both comfort and a polished finish.
  • Frotte: Frotté fabric takes center stage, especially when woven into beachwear. The key lies in its looped knit structure, strategically designed for optimal absorbency. This technical marvel in the knit department significantly enhances the functionality of beach attire.
  • Sweat: Sweat fabric, a fundamental in the textile landscape, derives its identity from a meticulously crafted knit structure. Often associated with comfort, it serves as a practical choice in various garments, including winter pajamas, homewear, and even beachwear. The essence lies in its straightforward knit design, making it a staple in the realm of functional textiles.
