Terms of Sales
1. Introduction
Set out below are the terms of sale of the e-shop of the société anonyme known as J. & B. LADENIS BROS S.A. – MINERVA – KNITWEAR MANUFACTURING COMPANY (hereinafter ‘MINERVA’ or ‘the Company’), based in Nea Efkarpia, Thessaloniki, at the 6th kilometre of the Thessaloniki-Oraiokastro road (ZIP CODE 564 29), tel. +30 2310 683110. 2. General
Through its website (eshop@minerva.gr) the Company allows users/visitors to its e-shop to avail themselves of the services it offers.
Before proceeding to browse the pages of the e-shop, the user/visitor is asked to read carefully the following terms of sale (‘the Terms’) governing purchases of our products from the shop. If the user agrees with the Terms he must accept them by clicking on the appropriate icon, farther down the page. NOTE: MINERVA takes the view that users/visitors to the e-shop have, before they commence their visit, read, agreed unreservedly with and accepted these Terms (and the above general terms of use). Should a user/visitor disagree with any of the Terms, we ask him not to avail himself of the services offered by the MINERVA e-shop and to exit the site immediately. 3. Product information
The site contains the following information on the Company and the products for sale:
The Company address
A description and list of the main features of the product
The price (including VAT), quantity and transportation costs
The method of payment, delivery and execution of order
The period for which the offer or price will remain in effect
Right of withdrawal
4. Prices
Prices for products displayed in the e-shop include VAT. Noted that the company reserves the right to have different pricing in colors / sizes of the same product. The price and the percentage discount mentioned when size and color are selected.
5. Quality
The MINERVA products displayed on the site have been subjected to rigorous and comprehensive controls at the Company laboratories, which are equipped to carry out tests on fabrics as required by the international specification protocol ISO 9001:2000, including washing tests for colour running and fading, durability tests, tests for tears and stitching. The Company’s quality controls are thorough and comprehensive. In the unlikely event of a problem being identified, users/visitors are asked to contact MINERVA immediately so the Company can take steps to resolve the problem without delay.
6. Availability
There are clear indications of availability in the Company stores for all products displayed on the site. The user/visitor can see immediately and easily, before entering his order, which of the MINERVA products are in stock and can be delivered immediately.
6. Order method
The user/customer who wishes to order products from the e-shop must first of all add the items to the shopping basket and then
dispatch the order to the Company by clicking on the appropriate link, and
filling in the payment form for the selected payment method.
To complete the order, the customer clicks on ‘Complet Checkout’.
As soon as MINERVA receives the order it sends the customer/user an e-mail to confirm receipt of the order. NOTE: the dispatch by the user/customer of his order to the Company represents a proposal to the latter to draw up a sales contract, while the dispatch by the Company to the user/customer of the receipt of the order represents acceptance by the Company of the said proposal to draw up the contract, which is regarded as having been drawn up only when the order receipt has been dispatched. The display of MINERVA products on the e-shop website does not represent a proposal to the user/visitor that a sale contract be concluded.
The package sent by MINERVA to the user/customer in execution of the latter’s order is accompanied by a detailed retail sale receipt.
7. Payment
Payment for the product(s) ordered by the user/customer is made by Credit Card , Paypal or Bank deposit. MINERVA accepts payment by all VISA and Mastercard credit cards. Bank deposits must be made within 5 days otherwise the order is canceled, any bank fees must be payed by user/customer. Bank accounts for deposits are the following. Name holder is Ladenis Bros - Minera SA.

8. Transportation and delivery
Maximum delivery time is 7 working days from completion of the order. The share of transportation costs paid by the customer/user depends on the place of delivery and the value of the order, as follows:
For orders above 200 Euro delivered in Greece, 250 Euro delivered to other EU countries and over 300 Euro delivered outside EU countries extra 10% discount (5% during sales periods) .
Orders under 40 Euros in Greece are charded with 3 Euro shipping cost.
Orders in EU are charged with 12 Euro shipping cost, Outside EU are charged with 16,50 Euro.
For orders delivered to other EU countries and worth more than 150 Euro, and for orders delivered outside the EU and worth more than 200 Euro, there is no charge
MINERVA pledges to replace any product ordered from the e-shop which is not delivered in perfect condition.
The Company cannot accept liability for delays in execution of orders caused by force majeure.
Orders are executed within at most five working days. Progress of the delivery process can be monitored via the eshop.
The Company’s policy is not to deliver packages to minors who do not have a written authorization from their parent or guardian.
9. Right of withdrawal
The user/customer can take delivery of the products he ordered without any commitment. If he changes his mind or if, for all the care taken by MINERVA over its products’ quality, the customer is dissatisfied, he can return those products he no longer wishes to purchase. In such cases MINERVA pledges to return the value of the returned product immediately, by banker’s deposit made out in the name of the customer cited in the order. Under the provisions of article 4 para. 10 of Law 2251/1994 on distance contracts, the above right of withdrawal from a purchase may be exercised by the user/customer in a statement to the Company, no reason for the withdrawal being required, within 14 days from the date of delivery of the relevant product. The customer is required to return the product in question to the Company undamaged, in its original packaging, and will be liable for the costs involved in the return of the product. The Company will accept returns only if the products are intact and undamaged, in their original condition, accompanied by the retail sale receipt and with the original packaging intact. In case of free shipping the shipping cost charged when the final amount is less than 150 Euros for EU or 250 outside EU. Where the refund relates to an order in which there was an additional discount, the deduction is wholly deductible if the amount of the remaining order is below the discount limit. Shipping that may have charged your order is not refundable in any case (replacement or withdrawal)
To ensure smooth and unhindered service, the user/customer who has decided to exercise the above right of withdrawal from the purchase must use the return form contained in the packaging.
10. Product return
Please note that any return must be effected within 14 days of the shipping.
In the event of return of an defective product for replacement by MINERVA, the Company will pay the only the shipping costs of the replacement product. The customer is required to return the product in question to the Company undamaged, in its original packaging, and will be liable for the costs involved in the return of the product.
11. Guarantee
MINERVA products are checked repeatedly, particularly before the dispatch of any order, in order to avoid where possible the dispatch of any defective product. A product with a serious flaw delivered to the user/customer, and whose defect has not been caused by the user/customer, will be replaced with an identical product. This obligation to replace a defective product does not apply if the damage to the product was caused by failure to follow the instructions for use, by poor maintenance, or by ordinary wear and tear. In these cases the Company can accept no liability for damage caused by use of the product in question.

13. Change of name
To ensure safe and prompt delivery of products ordered from the e-shop or the Company catalogue, users/customers are asked to inform the Company immediately of any change of address or any other change in their details, citing if possible the customer code number given them when using the site.
14. Applicable law
The above Terms are subject to Greek law and to be interpreted in accordance with that law. If any provision is declared unsound or invalid by the competent Greek court, it will be rendered null and void but without affecting the validity of the other Terms.
